Introducing the 2022 Maverick, the newest addition to Ford’s beloved pickup truck line-up. The Ford hybrid truck has come to compete – not only with mid-size pickups but with fuel-efficient sedans and crossover SUVs.

Ford has hinted that the Maverick will come standard with a hybrid powertrain and front-wheel drive. Plus, it’s expected to achieve 40mpg in the city! As if that is not enough to tease eco-conscious drivers, the Maverick’s price tag makes it America’s lowest priced truck!

This must-have Ford model will be available right here at Burns Ford, your Ford truck dealership in York! We’ll be sure to keep you updated as its fall 2021 launch approaches. Stay tuned for more details!

Or you can upgrade to a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (not a hybrid) that produces an impressive 250-horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. The road-ready 2.0-liter engine utilizes an eight-speed automatic transmission that can be paired with front- or all-wheel drive. This power-packed option is available on all trim levels.

Hybrid models will tow up to 2,000 pounds, while the turbo 2.0-liter with 4K Tow Package is rated at towing 4,000 pounds! Whatever your needs, Ford has you covered!

Styling and Storage

Styled similar to the Bronco Sport, the 2022 Ford Maverick comes in one body style: a crew cab with a 4.5 foot FlexBed that allows for multiple storage options.

Designed with innovative utility features in mind, FlexBed provides 12 available anchor points and a multiposition tailgate. It even has convenient slots that allow drivers to create custom dividers in the bed using lumber. Check out the pre-wired 110-volt electrical outlets on either side of the bed – perfect for powering tools and equipment.

Whether you are on the job site or on the road, the Maverick can help you stay connected! Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and helpful navigation tools ensure a smooth ride, no matter where the road takes you.
