Key Features of the Ford Maverick Tremor Package Already “built Ford tough,” the Tremor package adds advanced features to ensure the 2023 Maverick can tackle any terrain. Affectionately named Ford’s “baby off-roader,” the all-new Maverick Tremor seamlessly transitions from city life to off-grid exploration. Note that the Tremor off-road package is only available for XLT and Lariat Series trucks, pairing perfectly with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost I-4 engine to produce 250 horsepower and 277 lb.-ft of torque. This package cannot be combined with the front-wheel drive-only standard hybrid powertrain or entry-level XL trim. Eye-Catching Appearance Like its big brother, the F-150 Tremor, the Maverick Tremor features distinctive orange accents on the tow hooks, grille, wheels and fender vents. This stands out against the black side graphics, dark gray wheels and blacked out headlights, taillights and Ford logos. Orange accents can be found inside the cabin as well, with an updated center console and Tremor logos with orange stitching adorning the seatbacks. Built to Tackle Tough Terrain The Tremor Package improves upon the FX4 Off-Road Package, with an all-wheel drive system and differential lock feature that diverts nearly all the rear axle torque as needed. This setup, along with five selectable drive modes (pavement, mud, sand, snow, towing), give drivers confidence on the road – and off it! The Tremor Package also features the following: Unique springs and shocks Upgraded half shafts and heavy-duty transmission cooler The 17-inch dark gray aluminum wheels with 235/65R17 Wildpeak all-terrain tires Ford Trail Control (the off-road version of cruise control) The Maverick Tremor is the heaviest in the Maverick lineup, towing up to 2,000 pounds with ease and achieving a 1,200-pound max payload.
