Trim Levels (Exterior)

For 2023, the Ford F-150 is available in eight trim levels. These trims are XL, XLT, Lariat, Tremor, King Ranch, Platinum, Raptor, and Limited. Consider the XL or XLT trim levels if you need a work truck, or the Tremor or Raptor trims if you want an off-road-ready pickup truck. The King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited trim levels are designed with luxury in mind. The new Rattler Edition package for the F-150 is made for the off-road enthusiast. This package comes with Rattler box-side decals and fender vent badges, as well as black dual exhaust tips and 18-inch dark-painted aluminum wheels with all-terrain tires. The F-150 is celebrating 75 years of success. To celebrate this achievement, a special Heritage Edition of the vehicle is available for 2023. This edition comes with a white 75 Years upper windshield logo, plus exclusive 20-inch wheels and five different two-tone exterior paint options.

Engine (Power)

The Ford F-150 is all about versatility. That is why this pickup truck comes with a wide variety of engine options. The base selection is a 3.3-liter V-6 engine that generates 290 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. However, a twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6 engine is an optional upgrade. This pick produces 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. For the car buyer who desires even more strength, a 5.0-liter V-8 engine is available that produces up to 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. Finally, a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 engine is an optional pick that can generate 400 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque.

Performance

When properly equipped, the 2023 Ford F-150 can tow as much as 14,000 pounds. Additionally, the vehicle's maximum payload is 3,325 pounds. While rear-wheel drive is the standard setup of the vehicle, four-wheel drive is an available upgrade with some trim levels and standard with others.
